Beach Party and Friday Night Fireworks
Friday night will kick off with music from Airlie’s finest local youth talent including vocalists from Wellard Voice Tuition and Overthrow New York who are a 3 piece band playing original alternative Indie Rock.
The Beach Music stage will once again be set up right on the Airlie Beach foreshore along with the ‘pop up’ bar and the ‘Eat Street’ food stalls and Night Markets – something to keep all the family entertained.
Boom Nightclub Resident DJ will be mixing up the sounds to keep a great vibe happening while the fireworks are going off and before the main act.
Once the fireworks are done the stage will be ramping up with Rave Radio, known for taking the ‘DJ Set’ stereotype and absolutely blowing it out of the water, these guys combine live drums, live sampling and live vocals with their energetic mix of some sweet bass heavy genres.
Since Rave Radio released ‘Rumble’ back in 2015, they’ve attracted widespread support from industry heavyweights Martin Garrix, Hardwell, David Guetta, Dyro & Laidback Luke. Soaring high with the 2 million Spotify plays from previous single ‘Turn Me Out’ and another 1 million Soundcloud plays on their unofficial Drake, The Weeknd & Disclosure remixes, their synth heavy, quirky bass driven sound is quickly becoming their trademark sound. Other successes in 2017 saw their music take an interesting twist with single ‘Rock It’, an infectious feel-good house anthem that strayed from the Rave Radio norms.
All in all a great dance vibe for Friday night at the beach, followed by the after party at Boom Nightclub where you can see more of Rave Radio who will be continuing there live !!
