With the dust now settled in 2009's Whitsunday Reef Festival the time has come to reflect on the success. Over 4 days of the festival, our little town came alive with a complete range of festival activities. From Thursday night's Comedy Gala through the Family Fun Day, smiles were collected by the thousands, while Friday night's fireworks and Frocktails fashion parade split the crowd down the middle for equally pleasing nights out. Music lovers were not forgotten, at the beach stage music for all taste's threw out the dancing beats Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
There are thousands of people to thank, but the festival committee headed by Jeff Aquilina come first, their hours of tireless work and commitment during the year.
