One of the best locations to see the Whitsunday Reef Festival fireworks is from Water’s Edge in Airlie Beach and this year Frocktails at Deja Vu will be returning by popular demand. Tickets are on sale now for Friday 16 October.
Frocktails is a gala night incorporating great food, fashion and friends. Get a group together to share a fantastic night of entertainment. Watch the fireworks while sipping champagne and sharing a canapés or two. From Beauty Bars to models in the latest fashions, Frocktails will whet your appetite for getting into shape for summer. Beauty bars will allow guests to touch-up make-up and hair, get beauty advice and purchase products. After the firework, enjoy highlights of the latest fashions from our finest boutiques including PAYA, the Strand and Colour Me Crazy and some very sassy and sophisticated lingerie from Bedroom Boutique. And we are reliably informed that men enjoy this parade nearly as much as the women!
Ticket prices are $50 for a champagne on arrival and canapés or $65 for VIP tickets which include a champagne, a cocktail, canapés and reserved seating. Two corporate boxes at $1000 for 10 people have already been sold to two festival sponsors which means 20 lucky people will be enjoying a very extravagant evening’s entertainment.

The Reef Festival Committee is still looking for a sponsor for the naming rights for Reef Fire fireworks which will be simulcast by Sea FM on Friday 16 October. The committee is also looking for volunteers from the community who are interested in helping at events during the festival. The Big 4 Adventure Whitsunday Reef Festival is a celebration of the region’s wonderful natural assets and is a four day festival including a fireworks extravaganza, live music on the beach, a Comedy Gala, Brazilian Carnivale, Wearable Art awards, Starlight movies, a Family Fun Day with heaps of fun competitions, rides, games and much more.
